Before sending a notice
clipdls is a temporary processing utility and does not publish a searchable catalog of user files. Ready files expire automatically. A notice should concern material that is currently accessible through a clipdls job or download URL.
- A source-platform URL alone may not identify material stored by clipdls.
- If the temporary result has already expired, there may be no stored file to remove.
- This policy does not determine rights on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Dailymotion, or another source service.
What a complete notice should include
Send a written notice to dmca@clipdls.com with enough information for a good-faith review. Incomplete or ambiguous notices may require clarification.
- Your full name, organization if applicable, email address, and a physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list when one notice covers multiple works.
- The exact clipdls job or download URL and information reasonably sufficient to locate the material.
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
Review and action
clipdls may disable access, remove an active temporary result, preserve limited records when legally required, request clarification, or reject a notice that does not identify material under the service's control.
- Removal from clipdls does not remove the original media from its source platform.
- Fraudulent or materially misleading notices can cause harm and may carry legal consequences.
- No action described here is an admission that clipdls or a user infringed a right.
Counter-notices
A person affected by a copyright removal may send a counter-notice to the same address when they believe the material was removed because of mistake or misidentification. It should identify the removed material, explain the basis for the objection, include reliable contact details and a signature, and contain any statements required by applicable law.
- clipdls may share a valid counter-notice with the original claimant when legally permitted or required.
- Because files are temporary, reinstatement may be technically impossible after expiry or deletion.
- Consider obtaining independent legal advice before making sworn legal statements.
Repeat abuse and other reports
