Use clipdls only with media links you are allowed to access and process.

Allowed use

Use clipdls only for public media you are legally allowed to access, download, transform, or reuse. You are responsible for copyright, creator rights, licensing, local law, and platform terms that apply to the source media.

  • Do not use clipdls to bypass paywalls, account-only access, technical restrictions, or private content boundaries.
  • Do not redistribute, sell, or publish processed files unless you have the rights to do so.
  • Do not submit URLs or job settings intended to abuse, overload, scan, or attack the service.

Platform independence

clipdls is an independent utility. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or affiliated with YouTube, Instagram, Google, Meta, or their parent companies.

  • Platform names are used only to describe supported public URL types.
  • Source platforms can change availability, formats, rate limits, or page behavior at any time.

Temporary processing

clipdls creates temporary job records and output files only to complete the action you request, such as download, conversion, audio extraction, or clipping.

  • Ready files expire automatically after the visible timer ends.
  • You can delete a completed file earlier from the result screen when that control is available.
  • Do not use clipdls as cloud storage, backup storage, a CDN, or a public file host.

Service limits and reliability

To keep the app fast and stable, clipdls enforces request limits, source checks, duration caps, file-size caps, and worker protections before expensive processing begins.

  • Very long sources, live streams, unsupported formats, or files above configured limits may be rejected.
  • Rate limits can apply to metadata checks, downloads, and repeated requests from the same network.
  • Limits may change to protect reliability, infrastructure cost, and abuse resistance.

Availability and processing errors

Processing can fail for reasons outside clipdls, including private media, deleted media, age restriction, login-only pages, geo blocking, rate limiting, expired links, or source-platform changes.

  • A preview or metadata result does not guarantee that every output format can be produced.
  • The app may show safer, clearer errors instead of retrying a source that is likely unavailable.

No warranty

clipdls is provided as-is and as-available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, successful processing, exact output quality, long-term availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

  • You use processed files at your own discretion and responsibility.
  • We may change, limit, suspend, or remove functionality to protect the service or comply with legal obligations.
